My personal opinion top

This particular katana was born thanks to a very small communication problem. When going through all of the specifications for this particular model,  i mentioned that the fittings (tsuba-fuchi-kashira) needed to have a slightly silver shine as they had been used on the proto type.

As you can probably think (after checking the sword's picture), the forge interpreted the words 'silver shine' for 'silver color fittings' and so the mistake was born. I didn't notice it until they send me some pictures of the first pieces they've completed. I almost got a heart attack :)

The funny thing is that when showing these pictures to some customers, most of them actually liked that so we decided to keep them (shiny) as they were and have them put on the first flight to here.

Besides this little 'problem' it are actually pretty good swords. The blade is forged out of T10 steel with a hi and available in 2 lengths (2.45 & 2.55). They have a very solid and tightly wrapped tsuka (cotton) secured to the tang with 2 bamboo pins.

The weight is around 1000 gram for the 2.45 and around 1060 gram for the 2.55.
