On a picture it looks fancy and perhaps a bit of an overkill but i had a few of these in my hands in the last couple of years -production stuff.. just to be clear 🙂 – and i need to admit that it gives a totaly different impression than watching it on a screen.
No idea who did this horimono but it looks very very smooth. Don’t forget that the steel here is hardened, it’s not soft steel like a tsuba is made/carved from.
