Without being an expert here , i believe the carving work on this piece is outstanding. On the front we have Jurōjin, one of the 7 gods of fortune and at the back, which i personnaly like more than the front, pine trees.
The details & texture on the trunk and branches are just wonderful…at least to me 🙂
