Maintenance - Cleaning set for sword
This Traditional Sword Maintenance Kit is supplied with each piece in the
Forged Steel and Forged-Folded Steel series of Paul Chen / hanwei and is also
available separately
Always keep in mind that while a sword may be a beautiful piece of art, it is
primarily a weapon. Always be alert & careful and Do NOT test it for sharpness
by running your thumb along the edge.
The kit contains blade oil, rice papers, an oiling cloth, a powder ball for
blade polishing, a brass awl and hammer and saya shimming veneer. The kit is
contained in a fitted wooden box and full maintenance and handling instructions
are included.
