My personal opinion top

Ever searched for a good cutter that can handle heavy targets ? Don't look any further, you just found it !

This Tsunami katana is stylized with the renowned Tomoe motif. The tsuba, fuchi, & kashira are made of black iron and marked with the Tomoe crest (mon).

The blade is hand-forged from T10 high-carbon steel and are differentially tempered using traditional claying methods. The temper line (hamon) is evident and prominent. Each piece has a deeply lacquered black saya with a one-piece brass habaki construction. Real ray skin (same) is used on the tsuka, and the tsuka-ito and sageo are made of premium woven Japanese black cotton.

The katana is constructed with a large o-kissaki and are ideal for cutting exercises (tameshigiri). Although this sword is highly decorative, it is fully functional and can be used for cutting practice or tameshigiri

This katana does come with a cleaning kit and sword bag !

Het is een mooie en praktische katana.
Kwalitatieve materialen, goed afgewerkt. Ik heb er al heel wat tameshigiri met uitgevoerd op de gepaste tatami en heb ook al wat op bamboo geoefend. Wel heb ik zelf met afplakmateriaal voor kanten van plaatmateriaal (zoals in keukens uit plaatmateriaal) een stripje in men saya geplakt zodat de katana terug wat strakker vastzit.
Voor de rest goede katana, ik ben er over tevreden

Nobody like to receive a katana or any other product with a quality problem. A loose tsuba, seppa, chip in the saya,or any other damage. So before I ship your order , I personally check the quality of the product. Only if it’s 110% ok I will ship it to you.

90 Days return policy

Placing an order online is a great thing but sometimes you feel disappointed when you receive it . Although I’m doing my very best to provide you with a lot of detailed pictures and videos where possible, I do understand your concern . So if you don’t feel comfortable with your purchase just return it. Contact me prior to returning your order. This policy does not apply on any personal made katana or customized katana.

No charging before shipping

In case you pay with visa or mastercard, your card won’t be charged automatically when placing your order. Only when I finished the quality check and the courrier confirmed the pick up of your order, your card will be billed.

Want to customize this sword ?

If this standard model is almost what you’re looking for but it need a few personal tweaks and a 100% custom katana is not an option or needed, I can always give this baby a little ‘facelift’.

Rewrapping the tsuka with the material and or color of your choice, changing fuchi & kashira , tsuba, menuki and or seppa are all possible.

A rewrap of a standard size tsuka (katana) will run around 125 euro, including cotton ito.
