Kabuto & Mempo - Japanese Helmet and Mask

The Kabuto and Mempo were initially developed to protect against an attack on the battlefield, but through Japan's history , the many armorers saw the opportunity to show their technical and artistic skills.

The kabuto (hemlet) was not only to protect the Samurai warrior his head, but also to identify him and to show his prowess on the battlefield. It also indicate his social status, ranking and even his religious fervor. The diversity of styles is too big so we limited this collection to some general and well recognizable replicas.
