Double Sword Stand / Katanakake



This nicely designed Japanese samurai Sword Stand is perfect for displaying your shinken oer even your bokken Each support rail is lined for the protection of the finish.





This double sword stand (katanakake) is black laquered and feature a padded shelf for a tanto or maintenance Kit.



When not in use, a katana is placed on a katanakake( sword stand). The katanakake serves to keep the sword ready for use. Normally, the katana is displayed edge up with the tsuka arranged to the right. Storing the katana edge up helps keep the sword from becoming dull from the wood inside the saya.



Displaying the tsuka to the right allowed the sword to easily be drawn. For a peaceful display of one's weapons, the tsuka is arranged on the left. A tachi is displayed edge down, as it is normally worn. The tachi also is displayed on a vertical stand, with the edge turned away from the viewer.

Ik ben van mening : wat ben je met een mooi zwaard als je geen mooie stand hebt om het te tonen.
Met dit pareltje aan te kopen heb ik niet tekort gedaan aan mijn principes. Dit is, volgens mij, een must-have voor de presentatie van uw Japanse zwaarden. Ik heb nog geen seconde spijt gehad van deze aankoop.

Nothing leaves this place without checking

Nobody like to receive a katana or any other product with a quality problem. A loose tsuba, seppa, chip in the saya,or any other damage. So before I ship your order , I personally check the quality of the product. Only if it’s 110% ok I will ship it to you.

90 Days return policy

Placing an order online is a great thing but sometimes you feel disappointed when you receive it . Although I’m doing my very best to provide you with a lot of detailed pictures and videos where possible, I do understand your concern . So if you don’t feel comfortable with your purchase just return it. Contact me prior to returning your order. This policy does not apply on any personal made katana or customized katana.

No charging before shipping

In case you pay with visa or mastercard, your card won’t be charged automatically when placing your order. Only when I finished the quality check and the courrier confirmed the pick up of your order, your card will be billed.

Want to customize this sword ?

If this standard model is almost what you’re looking for but it need a few personal tweaks and a 100% custom katana is not an option or needed, I can always give this baby a little ‘facelift’.

Rewrapping the tsuka with the material and or color of your choice, changing fuchi & kashira , tsuba, menuki and or seppa are all possible.

A rewrap of a standard size tsuka (katana) will run around 125 euro, including cotton ito.
