Customized Japanese samurai Sword - 1095 steel Zhui Feng Japanese Sword



A Japanese sword with a 1070 steel blade forged by the Zhui feng forge.




A good sword is a good sword…period ! Keeping it' s price range in mind, the quality of this katana is very well compared to swords of other manufacturers. The problem with most of the manufacturers today is that they pay a lot of attention to their blades and don't really care about the rest, which results in a nice looking katana for a collector but not for the Budo practitioner !



This Zhui Feng katana here is made in the first place for the practitioner. It has a strong and differentially hardened 1070 steel blade with a nice polish and good kissaki. A standard & good shaped, strong tsuka with a very tight cotton wrap.This sword is doing very well when performing cutting tests. A video (because every store is telling you their katana are made for cutting tests) will be posted soon to prove the outstanding performance of this sword.



The regular retail price for a standard version of this katana is 420 euro. This piece has some little damage on the saya and can leave our warehouse for 350 euro only. The sword itself (made in a limited edition) is in perfect condition and comes in a wooden box with traditional sword bag.

Nothing leaves this place without checking

Nobody like to receive a katana or any other product with a quality problem. A loose tsuba, seppa, chip in the saya,or any other damage. So before I ship your order , I personally check the quality of the product. Only if it’s 110% ok I will ship it to you.

90 Days return policy

Placing an order online is a great thing but sometimes you feel disappointed when you receive it . Although I’m doing my very best to provide you with a lot of detailed pictures and videos where possible, I do understand your concern . So if you don’t feel comfortable with your purchase just return it. Contact me prior to returning your order. This policy does not apply on any personal made katana or customized katana.

No charging before shipping

In case you pay with visa or mastercard, your card won’t be charged automatically when placing your order. Only when I finished the quality check and the courrier confirmed the pick up of your order, your card will be billed.

Want to customize this sword ?

If this standard model is almost what you’re looking for but it need a few personal tweaks and a 100% custom katana is not an option or needed, I can always give this baby a little ‘facelift’.

Rewrapping the tsuka with the material and or color of your choice, changing fuchi & kashira , tsuba, menuki and or seppa are all possible.

A rewrap of a standard size tsuka (katana) will run around 125 euro, including cotton ito.
