Forged Japanese samurai Sword



This handforged Japanese sword of the Zhui Feng Forge is a very nice 'entry level' sword.



The blade of this katana is made of forged 1070 high carbon steel and differentially clay tempered with an edge hardness of 58-60 HRC and a back hardness of 40 HRC. The sword (Tsuba, fuchi & kashira and menuki) is mounted in a Bamboo theme. The purple cotton ito is imported from Japan and the tsuka has a dark bleu rayskin. Only 1 piece available !

Nothing leaves this place without checking

Nobody like to receive a katana or any other product with a quality problem. A loose tsuba, seppa, chip in the saya,or any other damage. So before I ship your order , I personally check the quality of the product. Only if it’s 110% ok I will ship it to you.

90 Days return policy

Placing an order online is a great thing but sometimes you feel disappointed when you receive it . Although I’m doing my very best to provide you with a lot of detailed pictures and videos where possible, I do understand your concern . So if you don’t feel comfortable with your purchase just return it. Contact me prior to returning your order. This policy does not apply on any personal made katana or customized katana.

No charging before shipping

In case you pay with visa or mastercard, your card won’t be charged automatically when placing your order. Only when I finished the quality check and the courrier confirmed the pick up of your order, your card will be billed.

Want to customize this sword ?

If this standard model is almost what you’re looking for but it need a few personal tweaks and a 100% custom katana is not an option or needed, I can always give this baby a little ‘facelift’.

Rewrapping the tsuka with the material and or color of your choice, changing fuchi & kashira , tsuba, menuki and or seppa are all possible.

A rewrap of a standard size tsuka (katana) will run around 125 euro, including cotton ito.
