  • wild hamon

Zhui Feng's High Carbon Steel Sword range

We did some experiments in the past with 1070 and 1095 steel to forge the blades but since 1070 didn't always gave us the result as we wanted and 1095 steel is not always that easy to get these days we ended up with T10.

At this moment T10 gives us the best result in terms of durability and overall look.

All of the current models are differentially hardened but we're definitely planning one or two through hardened models in the near future.

This monosteel serie features models with a rather 'standard' wave hamon but we also have one with a straight hamon (higo model) and even a choiji hamon blade (wild flowers model)  is represented.
